BioThis is my journey to get my finances and life in order. I have a goal of paying off $35,526.69 in one short year!! Can it be done on a modest income? I don't know..but I'm going to try..
Some background information....
My husband and I made the big mistake of filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had just buckled down with an extra job and paid it all on my own. There are so many fees you just dont realize when you file, and our attorneys office gave us lots of conflicting information. But, we cant look back only forward, and I want this debt gone and overwith!
My husband is helping pay the Chapter 13 payments, and will help as he can, but mostly its me thats taken off this quest with a vengeance. Making money, and saving money are the keys I hope will help me to pay this off as fast as possible.
My journal will give updates of where I stand debt wise and hopefully some good tips and fun along the way.
